The region also put forward our other regional winners in their respective categories in recognition for their contribution to the development of the sport.
Congratulations to Tri Hard Events on achieving event quality status level 1.
What is Event Quality Mark?
The Event Quality Mark scheme is designed to provide a quality assurance standard for events, as well as providing a useful resource for new and established events alike.
There are three stages, level 1, level 2 and level 3.
Michelle Scott, Triathlon England’s Regional Manager Northeast and Yorkshire added: “I would just like to say well done to Tri Hard on achieving level 1. Stockton is a fantastic event and I am sure the event would easily achieve level 2, hopefully next on the horizon”.
This year Stockton Duathlon will host 3 races:-
- Novice: 2k run, 10k cycle, 1k run
- Sprint: 5k run, 20k cycle, 2.5k run (ETU European Championship 2015 Qualification Race)
- Standard: 10k run, 40k cycle, 5k run (ITU World Championship 2014 Qualification Race)

Calling all Club Volunteers and Coaches!
After the success of last year, Triathlon England are pleased to announce that bookings for the second North Club and Coach Weekend will open on Sunday 1st December at 9am.
