Dear Clubs,

I am pleased to announce that bookings are now open for the Northeast Ride Leaders Course due to be held on Sunday 14th September 2014 at Ponteland Leisure Centre, Northumberland.

Does your club recognise this person?

  • Not a coach but would like to help out with your club sessions?
  • This person turns up week in week out for your club cycle rides?

Then this course is perfect for them!

Why?

Triathlon England have chosen CTC, the national cycling charity, to design a training course for volunteer ride leaders. The one day course is aimed at competent club cyclists who are not coaches to give them all the tools they need to lead a club ride.

The training has been designed to free up club coaches from leading group rides and also give other members the opportunity to be involved without the pressure of being a coach.
